Class fees are transferable to the next scheduled class only if there is room. Class fees are non-refundable.
There is no email receipt sent when slots are purchased. Class instructions will be sent out approximately one week before the class. Please email or call if you have any questions.
Depending on schedules and range availability, the competition class will be offered in 1 day and 2 day formats. These classes are taught by USPSA Grand Master and Master class shooters.
Competition Shooting I - 1 Day Class
This one day course will cover topics ranging from fundamental gun handling techniques to more advanced competition concepts, shooting on the move, advanced gun handling, strong side/support side shooting and explosive movement. This course will provide instruction and drills that will enable you to perform on demand. Students will leave this course armed with the skills and techniques that will allow you to run your pistol harder and faster!
A few of the topics covered in this class:

Gear Setup and Adjustment for different USPSA divisions
-
Proper grip, stance, sight and trigger management, and more
-
Utilizing key index points for maximum proficiency of draws, reloads, and malfunctions
-
Shooting on the move
-
Strong hand / Weak hand development
Class starts at 8:30 am and finishes at approximately 4:30.
Class requirements are:

Handgun and holster
-
Competition belt or strong leather belt
-
Minimum 3 magazine or speedloaders and suitable holders
-
400 rounds
-
Adequate clothes for the weather, Raingear (we will shoot rain or shine)
-
Notebook
-
Adequate water and lunch
Competition Shooting II - 1 Day Class
This one day course will continue from the Level I class and cover more advanced competition concepts, shooting on the move, moving targets and stage breakdown. This course will provide instruction and drills that will enable you to perform on demand. Students will leave this course armed with the skills and techniques that will allow you to run your pistol harder and faster!

Class requirements are:

Competition Shooting - 2 Day Class
This two day course will cover topics ranging from fundamental gun handling techniques to advanced concepts, advanced gun handling, strong side/support side shooting, shooting on the move, moving targets and explosive movement. Taught by USPSA Grand Master and Master class shooters, this course will provide instruction and drills that will enable you to perform on demand. Students will leave this course armed with the skills and techniques that will allow you to run your pistol harder and faster!
The concepts covered will be excellent training for competition shooters, military, law enforcement or general shooters. Graduates will receive a certification qualifying them to apply for concealed weapon permits under Montana law.

Class size is limited to the first 12 registrants. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Tuition is $240.00 per student.
If you would like to take the class but do not have all the equipment, please let us know - we can rent and loan out equipment to get you squared away.
