Class fees are transferable to the next scheduled class of the scheduled year ONLY, and only if there is room.  Class fees are non-refundable.

There is no email receipt sent when slots are purchased.  Class instructions will be sent out approximately one week before the class.  Please email or call if you have any questions.

This one day course will concentrate on providing instruction and drills that will increase your ability to perform on demand.  This course will cover topics ranging from fundamental gun handling techniques to advanced concepts of reloads, target transitions and movement.

If you have not shot a handgun before - this class is NOT for you!  Please take our Guns Safety Course first.

A few of the topics covered in this class:

  • Carry Gear and firearm setup for concealed carry

  • Principals of dry fire

  • Clearing firearm malfunctions

  • Proper grip, stance, sight and trigger management for increased accuracy

  • Utilizing key index points for maximum proficiency of draws, reloads and clearing malfunctions

  • Fundamentals of drawing and reloading from a concealed position

  • Increasing the speed of transitions from target to target

Students will leave this course armed with the skills and technique that will allow you to shoot your handgun faster and more accurately.  Join us for a fun-filled day of learning and shooting.

The concepts covered will be excellent training for competition shooters, military, law enforcement or general shooters.  Graduates will receive a certification qualifying them to apply for concealed weapons permit under Montana law.

The class will begin at 830 am and finish about 430 pm.  Class requirements are:

  • Handgun, Centerfire 380 or larger

  • Strong, sturdy belt

  • Strong side belt mounted holster (IE if you are right handed, a holster that mounts on your belt on your right side.)

  • Minimum 3 magazines or speed loaders

  • Eye and ear protection

  • 300 rounds of ammunition

  • 10 dummy rounds (look here for dummy rounds http://www.stactionpro.com )

  • Rain gear ( we will shoot rain or shine)

  • Adequate water and lunch

 

Let us know if you can't find ammo - we have sources that can help.  Class size is limited to the first 12 registrants.  Students should be 16 years or older.  Pre-registration is required. Tuition is $120 per student.  See pricing tab for further information.
